Using App42, developer can reset the password of his app users. This action will generate a new password for app users and send them an email for the same. Till now, the developer was using a default email template for sending an email. However, now he can use his own customized email template to send ‘Password Reset Emails’. Here, are the few steps to do the same:

Configure Email 

1. Go to AppHQ

2. Unified Notifications -> Settings -> Email

3. Click on Add Email

4. Fill All Fields and then press Submit

e.g. for gmail :
Host : smtp.gmail.com
Port : 465
Email : xxx@gmail.com
Password : ********
SLL : true

Create Email Template

1. Go to AppHQ

2. Unified Notifications -> Email -> Click on Reset Password Template as shown below

3. Click on Add Template button

4. Now, you can add your content, images & css etc.

5. Then, click on Submit to save your email template
